I’ll tell you what else the survey revealed later in this article. First, though let’s look at who can use micro-influencers and which brands are doing so. Brands like Microsoft, MAC Cosmetics and Joe Fresh have already leveraged micro-influencer marketing campaigns on Instagram but there is no shortage of other businesses seeing the benefits of running such campaigns with low-cost influencer marketing agencies. As well as attracting new customers, micro-influencer marketing also helps to retain existing ones. And it’s not just businesses that benefits from these strong relationships with customers, 95% of people say they tend to trust a micro-influencer over a celebrity.

The micro-influencer market has been growing massively over the past few years, and Instagram is where it all went down.
According to a study by HYPR, a global agency for influencer marketing, 73% of marketers will increase their influencer budgets this year, while 80% of brands will shift from advertising on publishers’ platforms to social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter . In other words, Instagram accounts with between 100k and 1 million followers are gaining popularity because companies want their money’s worth when it comes to purchasing ads, but also because small businesses simply can’t afford celebrities’ prices.
In this article, we’ll explore how much do micro-influencers charge for their services – which rates you can expect for different follower counts, how many posts you can expect to see on your feed and what to keep in mind when purchasing ads from social media influencers.
Let’s get started!
· $10/hr – $30+ per hour (USA)
· £7/hr – £22+ per hour (UK)
· ¥4,420 – ¥11,400 per hour (Japan)
· €8/hr – €20+ per hour (Central Europe)
When it comes to rates of influencers on Instagram, the general rule is that the more followers a person has, the higher their price. Most of these influencers however do not have a set fee and you will need to contact them for a quote. Some may even offer discounts if they like your product or think that working with you would be beneficial for both parties. It is very rare for micro-influencers to promote anything for free as they don’t have as big an audience as celebrities or huge companies. For those who charge less than $100 per post, keep in mind that these posts will likely receive less engagement and the content may not be as high quality since they do this for a living in their spare time.
Recommendation: If you want to go for a micro-influencer, keep an eye out in your local community – perhaps there’s someone with a nice following who would benefit from sharing your product or service!
