    Dreams CAN come true! It was a dream that inspired Sutherlin authoress, Bett y L. Klopp, to write (and illustrate) her first novel, The Last Elves of the Golden Forest.


    Bottomline’s home is Greenup County, Kentucky. Recorded live at the Raceland-Worthington Cultural Arts Center in Raceland, Ky. in 2007, this set opens with an a cappella rendition of our National Anthem. Bottomline then launches into a rousing “Freeborn Man” that elicits audience applause during the song.

    Forestry FUN Day

    All youth in grades 3 – 5, please join us for a day of crafts and activities to learn and explore forestry and wildlife. Forestry FUN day is Monday, February 18, a no-school day. The event has limited space and is on a first come, first serve basis.
    At the Forestry FUN Day, boys and girls will be engaged in fun crafts, learn about trees through fun games and hear from speakers on forestry and wildlife.
    The registration deadline is February 12 and the cost is only $5.
    To register, please obtain a registration form from the OSU Extension service at 1134 S.E. Douglas, or call 672-4461 for more information.



    Steel is hard, tough and resistant. You’ve gotta have great strength and determination to drive it. On their debut CD, this quintet rises to the task of guiding and steering their music into a bluesy blend of emotional energy and expressive intensity.

    The next upcoming concert is with the acoustic guitar and piano of Zsa Zsa. Hear her powerful voice fill the intimate venue of the Umpqua Valley Arts Center (with their new chairs!) on the first Friday of February.
    Zsa Zsa is a Roseburg singer/songwriter strongly influenced by the Blues. Her first album self entitled Zsa Zsa was released in late 2006.
