From sixteen southern Oregon Goodwill stores, the Sutherlin store was chosen to win the 2007 Retail Store of the Year Award. The beautiful plaque sits atop the display case inside the store. It reads: Retail Store Of The Year 2007 In Recognition of outstanding performance with Southern Oregon Goodwill.
On Tuesday, March 18, the plaque was displayed for customers to appreciate and the employees to be proud of. Enthusiastic employees pointed out the plaque and thanked each shopper for making the award possible by their shopping and donating articles to the store.
Goodwill was founded in 1902 and now is a 2.4 billion non-profit organization. Goodwill’s philosophy is “A hand up, not a hand out.”
Congratulations, and thank you for being in our community, helping stretch our budgets.
