Jock Jouvenat calls it quits

Jock Jouvenat, Candidate for Douglas County Clerk announced March 25 that he was withdrawing from the race. this is his letter:
Today I am withdrawing as candidate for Douglas County Clerk.
In discussions with family members over the weekend it became clear that I will be traveling to the East Coast on family matters 2-4 times per year, versus the 1 trip every other year or so I had been doing. After careful consideration I felt that I would not be able to devote the time required of the position.
I made my decision this morning.
It is too late to file form number SEL 150 which would have removed me from the ballot. As such my name will still be on the ballot. I encourage all to vote for either one of the other candidates and not for me. Don’t waste your vote.
I appreciate the positive feedback I have received from various citizens of Douglas County.
Again, please vote for one of the other candidates.
