			<description><![CDATA[The Model T Ford Club of America has decreed 2008 as the 100th year commemoration of the introduction of the first Model T. Although the first model year for the T was 1909, assembly actually began in September of 1908. An event in Indiana is being billed as the site of a voluntary &#8220;recall&#8221; for all Model Ts still in existence this July at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Richmond, Ind.]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[Douglas Electric Co-op to Hold 68th Annual Meeting]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[Douglas Electric Cooperative members will hold their Annual Meeting Saturday, April 5 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Activities and registration will begin in Douglas Hall at 8:30 a.m., followed by the business meeting at 10:30 a.m. Election of board members for districts 3, 4 and 5 will also take place at the meeting. <br/>Exhibits and displays will include Douglas FastNet, South Stephens Appliance, Douglas Electric&#8217;s Safety Board, Certified Arborist Dave Alsen, Yoncalla Crafts, energy conservation and program information. Don Fisher and Janel Hahn will provide the music and a free luncheon will be prepared by members of the Lookingglass Grange. Door prize drawings will be held at the beginning and immediately following the business part of the meeting. <br/>Douglas Electric Cooperative is a member-owned electric utility currently serving over 9,500 residential, commercial and industrial customers in northwest Douglas County. They have been in business since 1939.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[At the end of the work day when I am tired and want to go home to my quite house and comfortable chair I sometimes hesitate at the thought of Special Olympics practice and the work involved. But When I get there and put on my smile and begin to work during warm ups I quickly forget about why I didn&#8217;t want to come and am elated and reenergized by the athletes and partners.]]></description>
