I was on the newspaper staff while attending Myrtle Point High School 1981-1984. During that time, I placed in several state journalism competitions, and was a correspondent for the Myrtle Point Herald and Coquille Valley Sentinel as well. I received a writing scolarship from SWOCC upon graduation. I think I could be an asset to your publication in the future.
