On 6-24-09 at approximately  1851 hours, the Coos  County, Sheriff’s Office, the  Charleston Fire Department,  and the Coos Forrest  Protection Association  responded to the report of a  vehicle over the embankment  and on fire on Seven  Devils Rd. near milepost 9  near Charleston, Oregon.  The above units responded  and located a 1983 Ford  Thunderbird engulfed in  flames approximately 100  feet down the embankment.  The vehicle was determined  to have been stolen from a  local impound lot in North  Bend on 6-22-09.
