On June 28, 2000 Leah Nicole Freeman was walking  home from her friends house & never arrived. She was 15  years old.  Leah's body was discovered on August 3, 2000 in a  wooded area about 12 miles away in the Fairview area of  Coos county.  She was a victim of a violent homicide.  This murder
has never been solved.  Leah Freeman's family and friends continue to suffer  greatly from this tragedy. Their suffering is compounded  by the lack of closure because this is an unsolved murder.

They honored her memory at Stanford Heights Park on  Sunday night with a candlelight vigil. Another vigil is  scheduled for August 3rd at close to the site where her body  was found. More information about Leah Freeman and her  case can be found at the Leah Freeman website:  http://leahfreeman.com/
