The expansive new public works building at the city shop property on hwy 42 that also houses the sewage plant has
been completed. This new building takes the place of the old shop, the old lunch room, and the two open truck bays. After
the old buildings are torn down the next step will be to do the pre-load, which consists of covering the old site with a large
compacted pile of dirt, sand, and gravel. This heavy load will set for 6 to 9 months to prepare the ground for the new lab &
sewer plant project
