Recruits to graduate from Reserve Officer Training Academy

Reserve Officer Training Academy (ROTA) graduation will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 11. The invitationonly celebration will be held at the Oregon Coast Culinary Institute.
Approximately thirteen people will graduate from the academic portion of their training, including about four from the Coos County Sheriff’s
Office, three from North Bend PD, three from Coquille PD, and one each from Myrtle Point PD, Bandon PD, and Florence PD. Numbers are accurate as of the date of submission for print. Attendees must be sponsored by a law enforcement agency. Those interested in attending ROTA and becoming a reserve officer should contact their local police department.
