Joe Nichols

has been chosen as the Coquille High  School Student of Distinction for May 2009. Joe is a  sophomore at Coquille High School this year. He and  his family are long time Coquille community members.  Joe is an outstanding young man who is a strong academic  student-athlete. He is a two-year Varsity member  of the track team. He has excellent work habits, a great  attitude, and is very dependable, responsible, respectful  and kind to everyone; this shows not only in the classroom  but through his community service projects. His  academic strengths show through his active participation  in many leadership, service and sports activities  from middle school to the present. We are pleased to  call Joe a true Red Devil!
