COOS BAY, OR – The Men’s and Women’s Basketball
Programs at Southwestern Oregon Community College will
be conducting their 1st annual overnight summer basketball
camp in August. The camp will be coached by college
coaches Trevor Hoppe and Mike Herbert, as well as
Southwestern Laker assistant coaches and former players.
The camp will be held August 14-16. The fun and education
begins that Friday at 5 p.m. and continues until 11:30
a.m. Sunday when the camp will end with an awards ceremony.
All meals are included for the overnight campers and
lunch and dinner are included for the day campers.
Boys and girls, grades 5-12, are welcome to attend.
Overnight campers are only $100, while day campers will
be just $60. Those staying overnight will be staying on
campus and will need to bring their own bed linens or a
sleeping bag, a pillow, and a shower towel. There are
expected to be plenty of spaces, but interested people
should still register early to guarantee their registration.
