As part of Make a Difference Day, students at Lincoln each created
mosaic patterns on 6 X 6 pavers under the direction of local artist, Patricia
Adamek. As a gift to the school, where two of her grandchildren attend, Adamek
created a custom 12 X 12 Lincoln Lion which was also placed. The pavers were
permanently set into the ground by the many volunteers and supervised by Cathy
Heisler of Waterwheel Landscape Company. Heisler and crew did the heavy labor
of prepping the ground the night before. Everyone is encouraged to stop by and
see the handiwork of our talented young artists and see if you can find a pumpkin,
flowers, a dove and the entire alphabet hidden within the pavers.
