“This is our 13th Annual Pancake Breakfast,” Coquille Fire Chief Dave Waddington told The Sentinel. “Over that time we’ve earned about $20,000 for kids. Everyone is invited to come and help the kids.”
The cost of the breakfast is $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under and will take place at the Coquille Fire Department.
“In years past we took donations,” Waddington said. “This is the fourth year we’ve actually charged a flat fee. All proceeds go to the Emanuel Hospital Burn Center for kids.”
This year’s breakfast will feature eggs, pancakes, ham, juice, milk or coffee. “It’s a nice time,” Waddington said. “We usually have a nice crowd the whole time.
